Oak Church Doors - North Tyne
We made this set of double doors for St Michael’s Church in Wark using pippy Northumbrian oak, with a traditional Gothic arch. They were created to replace the original doors, which dated back to the church’s construction in the 1820s. We followed the original design as closely as possible, the main difference being that the originals were made from pine, whereas the new doors are crafted from oak.
